Yeah, that was the weirdest/most-frustrating part of the session. Bridges failed on wireless, and then at the end of the day, mine worked. So weird...

I have Virtualbox configured for a bridged adapter and Firefox can connect to the VM, but my desktop box uses a network cable. I don't know why it should matter but apparently it does.
