Looking for input from your personal perspective.

Interest has been expressed in DevOps, Scripting, and Network Camps.

I want to introduce at least one, preferably two new camps this year. That means that something won't happen, maybe two somethings. So, I have to prioritize. You can help by letting me know what you want. If you're a bigwig, you could say, "I'd send my guys to that." If you're a little-wig, you could say, "I'd go to that, but only if..."

All these camps will be long weekends away in the mountains, and very hands-on, like Linux Camp. Probably Friday through Monday, but maybe Saturday through Tuesday. I like to use weekend time, because it's easier for career-changers and upgraders, college students, and so on. Folks that have other priorities during the week, that must not be compromised. Also, this is my evening/weekend gig and I love my day-job, so I try to take as little from it as I can, while I'm building my dream-job. I want this thing to be a win for everyone: you, me, and my employer. Corp-funded folks can just work out funding and comp-time with their bosses.

I'm also eager to start PWYC on camps this year, but that may be biting off more than we can comfortably chew at once.

DevOps::Ops Camp, so far:

Build your own OpenStack cluster, automate software stacks with Puppet, automate monitoring with Nagios, automate load-balancing and HA with haproxy and keepalived
ideas: nginx? OpenShift?

Scripting Camp, so far:

bash, more bash, and a little Python.
ideas: Ruby? perl?

Networking Camp, so far:
IPv4, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewall, NAT, NAS?
ideas: Target CompTIA Network+ ?
