[SFS] SFFF: The Beautiful BeagleBone Black at The TinkerMill

Free (Libre) Software on Free (Libre) Hardware. It really *doesn't* get any=
 better than this. 

The Software Freedom School likes to promote the idea of "Software Freedom =
1st Friday", the habit of learning and doing something new with Free Softwa=
re (Software Libre) every month, on the first Friday of the month. 

This Friday is the 1st Friday of October. If you'd like to "learn and do" w=
ith us, join us at The Tinkermill where we'll have a few BeagleBone Black's=
 set up for show and tell and exploration. If you already have a BeagleBone=
 Black, bring it and a question, or something you'd like to show and tell. =

We'll start at around 6:30pm, and we'll definitely do these: 

    =E2=80=A2 download the latest debian for BBB image and flash the intern=
al eMMC storage 
    =E2=80=A2 browse the BBB "Getting Started" page 
    =E2=80=A2 ssh to the BBB 
    =E2=80=A2 move files to/from the BBB 
    =E2=80=A2 use the Cloud9 IDE 

And we might do some of these: 

    =E2=80=A2 vnc to the BBB 
    =E2=80=A2 play a Jason Rohrer game 
    =E2=80=A2 flash some LED's or a table-lamp 
    =E2=80=A2 play Descent (or something like it) 
    =E2=80=A2 play Minecraft Pi (or something like it) 

Heather will probably bring a nice evening snack...
