-talented System/Platform Administrator with expert level experience in sup=
porting systems and applications built on a mix of Oracle and Open Source t=
echnologies. As a contributing member of a globally distributed team, you w=
ill be responsible for the support of Cloud Services across various PaaS po=
rtfolios. This is a unique, ground floor opportunity to work on cutting edg=
e platforms to support Oracle=E2=80=99s growing Cloud Services.=20
Key Responsibilities:=20
* Collaborate with Product Development and other operational teams to d=
efine production PaaS Service deployment standards and drive standardizatio=
n across operations.=20
* In depth hands-on systems experience with Linux O/S, Oracle Weblogic =
application servers, Oracle HTTP servers and Oracle DB servers.=20
* Work with Development, Release Management, Service Delivery Managers =
and other Cloud Operations teams on Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes a=
nd tools to on-board new and upgrade existing PaaS Services.=20
* Work with Security, Server, Network and Monitoring Operations teams t=
o integrate PaaS services into Oracle Public Cloud production environments.=
=20
* Train Run-time Management teams (RTM) on new External Compute Service=
deployment architectures and associated operational monitoring and managem=
ent tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), Logstash/Kibana and Re=
al User Experience Insight (RUEI)=20
* Provide L2 run-time management (RTM) support for customer Service Req=
uest (SR) escalations.=20
Required Skills:=20
7+ years of senior technical expertise in Linux system administration and s=
cripting=20
* 5+ years of senior technical experience supporting complex production=
virtualized infrastructure environments=20
* 5+ years of senior technical experience with Oracle Weblogic applicat=
ion servers and WLST scripting=20
* Strong working knowledge with networking firewall and load-balancing =
configuration experience a plus.=20
* Working knowledge of Oracle HTTP Servers (OHS) servers a plus=20
* Detailed troubleshooting skills to investigate system performance bot=
