Humble Bundle is doing a Linux and Open Source book bundle. $15+ gets you $429 of digital books, including git, OpenStack, Ansible, Linux, vim... many, many of the things we're studying this year. https://www.humblebundle.com/books/linux-book-bundle -- David L. I took the Certified OpenStack Admini= strator exam last night. It works very much like the Linux SysAdmin exam, s= o I thought I'd share some of my "notes to self", in case any= of you have or soon will, take one of these exams.- Skip tasks! Get to the end and come back for the harder tasks. Keep= a list, as a file in the exam system, of skipped tasks.- Practice everything in the CLI *and* the GUI. Many exam tasks can be acc= omplished much more quickly in the CLI. Some tasks are not possible in the = GUI, as far as I can tell. Some tasks are quick and easy. Some have= a *lot* of parts and details. Some are *really* hard. The exercises are no= t interdependent. Since neither the complexity nor the amount of effort is = consistent from task to task, it makes sense to do the things you can do qu= ickly or easily, first.I don't think I passed, but I think I ge= t a free retake, so barring a miracle, I'll be taking it again in a cou= ple weeks.

You could look at git-annex. I'm not sure how suitable it= is for sharing but it may address the simple part. You can probably find a= list of use cases and see if yours is close enough.
