
<html><body><div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div>At the SFS Mini Linux Bier Wanderung in September, Mike Shoup and I decided that starting a LUG in Golden provides too many good opportunities for corny jokes to pass up, and also lends itself to perhaps the most beverage-friendly acronym ever. Then, sometime last week, Rich Glazier said it's a good idea, too, because SFS' events are always so *serious* and *worky* that it would be nice to have a location that is approximately equally inconveniently located for everyone where we can just hang out and shoot the feces.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Please join Mike, Rich, and me at the inaugural meeting of GLUG and be a Golden LUG Nut. <--- See what I mean about the corny jokes?</div><div><br></div><div>So, anyway, 2nd Monday of July, we'll start gathering at 6:30pm at New Terrain Brewing Company. At 7PM, nothing of any importance will begin to happen. At 7:30pm, there will also be nothing important starting, that you might be late for. But at 8pm... Well, there's nothing planned for 8pm, either.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>If the fancy strikes at any time, we could talk about setting up a website, a mailing list, a second meeting, or we could play a board-game, or work (hands-on, rather than just "talk about" or "think about") on a technical problem.</div></div></body></html>
