[SFS] Need help with an NFS mount in OwnCloud

So yeah I can mount it and it is in fstab and finally automounts the way I want it to. However owncloud shows it as empty. If I log in as root I can see everything on the share fine. I remember we needed to do something to the mountpoint to make sure no files ever get put there, however the only thing I can think is a permissions error. I am forgetting something but no idea what, any ideas?
