Do you find questions as interesting as answers?

What follows are some questions. Ponder them and offer answers, or insights=
that might help build useful answers, if you're so inclined.

What is free software? What is open source software? Are they the same thin=
g? What is the usefulness of the word =E2=80=9Clibre=E2=80=9D?

A creator wants to distribute his/her program under an open source license,=
and wants to insure that the program remains =E2=80=9Cfree=E2=80=9D for hi=
s/her customers' customers. Which license might (s)he choose?

BSD was created under a license which allows proprietization of the product=
. Is BSD still =E2=80=9Cfree software=E2=80=9D? What license is it distribu=
ted under? Which well-known proprietary OS is a derivative of BSD?

What is a society? What is it's purpose? Are people social or independent? =

What is a school? What is it's purpose? Are people curious or apathetic, vi=
gorous or lazy, ignorant or educated? Who teaches better, a novice or an ex=
pert? Is emotion important in engineering disciplines?
