I know: nobody wants to think about "after the holidays". But, if I wait to announce, I'll be announcing "the day after tomorrow". That's just too little warning for planners like me, so...
For January's Software Freedom First Saturday, we have:
SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL
Featureban:
Ed Schaefer will lead a simple, fun simulation game to introduce Kanban basics and help us learn how visualizing work and limiting work-in-progress (WIP) helps us improve flow.
Docker:
David L. Willson will lead us over some potentially useful Docker exercises I wrote for a 1.5 hour BLUG session. Handy for anyone learning Docker or considering renewing their LFCS. I heard they added Docker to that.
What else?
It looks like there'll be some time left over, so what else should we cover? How about a few 15-minute demos?
To be clear, my goal is to make SFFS inexpensive and interesting enough that practically all of us come together to learn. How am I doing? Got suggestions for me?
Ooh, I have one! Put it on Meetup! I'll do that, and let you know when it's done.
