[SFS] Position Wanted: DevOps Engineer

Hey SFS’ers,


I’ve taught classes to some, and taken classes with many more of you. I’ve
been living in Berlin the last 2 years, and am now returning to the
beautiful Mile High City. I would like to reach out to this great group of
people first in my search for the next gig in Denver.


I’ve been doing DevOps for 4 years, Linux SysAdmin things for over 6 years,
and come from a technical video production background. I truly love
automation, and plugging things together to make a working system that
enhances the business value and daily tasks of my colleagues. I’ve worked
with development pipelines, website performance, MVPs of new products with
new tooling, security and many other topics.


I have worked at a startup from beginning through acquisition and an
international company with offices all over the world where the goal was to
switch cloud providers, deployment tooling, as well as keep the business
running and scaling. I thrive most in a fast-paced environment, where
decisions are based on quantifiable data and everyone is working hard
together towards a common goal. Mentorship and constant learning play a
pivotal role in my life, and I hope to continue to help teach others and be
taught in my next engagement. (Yes SFS Captains, I will be teaching classes
once I return.)
